John Travolta has enough personal issues to deal with these days: some idiot author has accused the actor of having gay affairs, while wife Kelly Preston is pregnant.
As a result of all that's on his plate, Travolta has chosen to drop the extortion charges against a Bahamian paramedic and lawyer who allegedly threatened to expose details of Jett Travolta's death last year unless the movie star paid $25 million.

Said Travolta, speaking on this decision and on the first trial of Tarino Lightbourne and Pleasant Bridgewater, which resulted in a mistrial:
"The first trial in this matter resulted in a heavy emotional toll on my family. It was finally time to put this matter behind us... I concluded that it was in my family's best interest for me not to voluntarily return to the Bahamas to testify a second time at trial."
We wish Travolta and Preston nothing but the best.
